How does the Measuring Change Tool work?

This section contains resources to guide your school through the data collection process.

1. Go to the area that you will be measuring and find out what you need to know to get started. You can measure change in Zero Waste, Energy!, Living Landscapes and Water of Life.

2. Download the following resources:

  • The Annual Summary Sheets are where you will record the results of your measurements. This is the information that you will submit online and from which your progress report will be generated.
  • The Data Collection Sheets include methods and explanations to guide you through data collection in your school and sheets for you to record this information as you go. Use these step-by-step tools to make sure you follow the same standardised process that all other enviroschools will be using. The Data Collection Sheets will help you complete the Annual Summary Sheet.
  • Teacher Support Activities are available with extra information, classroom exercises and other resources.

3. Once you have filled out your Annual Summary Sheet, enter the data online in the Upload Data section. You'll receive a report showing where you're at now and as you send in more data, a history of your progress.
